Watch Ice Age 3 yet? It’s really here!
It’s true, Ice Age 3 finally opened this weekend! It’s been a long time coming but after seeing it, I’m thinking if you only have one good plot you should stop there or get a ghost! While there have been some notable trio successes–I mean, look at Indiana Jones—3rd one was the best! But sadly Ice Age 3 joins the ranks of the new sorry Star Trek prequel—drawing its today from yesterday.
The only fireworks this weekend were for the 4th of July—not at the theatres! Seriously, Ice Age 3 introduces a new character who loosely spoofs a combination of the homicidal psychopath bad guy from the Shining and something like Winnie the Pooh’s pink friend Piglet. Add that to giant herd devouring dinasours that don’t even talk and you get great family entertainment? Hardly. Way too scary for the tots.
Sadly, while we do see the return of our favourite pre-historic herd from Ice Ages 1 & 2, there’s not much of a story to put them in! Something went wrong for this summer’s movies all the way around.
Ok… there is Peaches and that almost makes it worth the watch… I confess! But my favourite part was
remembering Lou Rawls… now there were some fireworks!
Movies, movies, movies…
How funny that we spend so much time talking about, reading about and thinking about the movies… ever wonder why?

wondering if the worst influence is keeping us living in an inaginary world–disatisfied with reality and not able to enjoy the beauty of real life! the facts are you probably won’t find a husband in a pub, one night stands don’t lead to a lifetime of romance and marriage, when you shoot someone they mostly die, and if you jump off a building with a superman cape, well…
realised movies & tv are getting worse, v bad influence to kids
for me, it’s my job
but even then i’ve never been in the habit of watching and talking about movies a lot
