UK – Youngest Member Of Child Sex Rings Only 9-Month Old

What an upside down world we are living in today!  Tom Wells has just published an article in The Sun entitled “Boy sold for sex … aged nine months.”  It is just unthinkable what people are doing nowadays to satisfy their lust for child sex.  This boy has not even celebrated his first birthday, and already he has been sexually abused.  Now who would take joy in abusing a 9-month baby boy? There must be demand from pedophiles, otherwise child sex rings won’t be supplying 9-month old babies.

This 9-month old boy was rescued by social workers in Lambeth, South London.  But more shocking is what the statistics reveal.  Katherine Hill of The Children’s Society said: “Research shows that as many as 5,000 children a year are sexually exploited in the UK – including being involved in prostitution. They are from a variety of backgrounds and it is important to note that there is not one ‘type’ of young person most likely to be involved.”

Also rescued was a 4-year old girl who was suspected to have been sold for sex.  Again there must be demand from pedophiles for such young girls, who are robbed off their childhood.

Such kids who are rescued from sex rings are usually placed under “child protection plans” to prevent further abuse.

But there are also many children in their early teens who are victims of the sex rings.  Explaining why the true scale of UK child prostitution may not be known, Katherine Hill said: “By law a child ten or over remains criminally liable for the commission of a prostitution offence, such as loitering or soliciting. A fear of being prosecuted is preventing children from coming forward to seek help.”

Think about it.  What drives people to sexually abuse children, even babies? Who is to be blamed?  The pedophiles?  Or the sex ring operators?  Or both? What can be done to stop this abuse?
