Rachel Uchitel In Pole Position Among His 20-Odd Mistresses For The Race To Get Tiger Woods Back
Finally it’s all over. Long suffering and publicly humiliated Elin Nordegren has offically ended her marriage to Tiger Woods. And while the ink has barely dried up on the divorce document that makes TIger Woods a free man, former Swedish mistress Rachel Uchitel has been quick to stake a claim on the wounded Tiger, saying she wants him back.
The Divorce
That the marriage has broken beyond salvage has never been in doubt. Afterall, Elin Nordegren had moved out of her marital home, and the past few months had been spent on money talk. This divorce is said to be one of the most expensive in celebrity history, but exactly how much money changed hands is not disclosed. Press reports speculate that the figure could be as high as $700 million.
To be sure, there was a prenuptial agreement at the time of their marriage in 2004. This prenuptial agreement was worth $20 million but it required Elin Nordegren to remain married to Tiger Woods for 10 years. The prenuptial agreement was torn up when Tiger Woods’ sex addiction and his secret affairs with around 20 mistresses across several states became public last year. The divorce agreement essentially replaced the prenuptial agreement, and it substantially upped the amount payable to Elin Nordegren.
The Children
Elin Nordegren bore 2 children to Tiger Woods during the course of their marriage. Sam Alexis was born in 2007, and Charlie Axel was born in February 2009. After the divorce was finalized in court, Tiger Woods and Elin Nordegren issued a joint statement, saying: “We are sad that our marriage is over and we wish each other the very best for the future. While we are no longer married, we are the parents of two wonderful children and their happiness has been, and will always be, of paramount importance to both of us.”
The divorce was finalized in Bay County Circuit Court, and the judgment dissolving the marriage provides for shared parenting of the 2 children. The children will stay with Elin Nordegren. Tiger Woods will visit the children in-between his golfing games at various competitions.
Elin Nordegren reportedly also required Tiger Woods to ensure that the children do not come into contact with any of his women, unless he remarries, in which case his new wife can come into contact with the children.

Tiger Woods earned an estimated $118 million last year in prize money and endorsements. Forbes business magazine said that Tiger Woods is the first athlete to earn a billion dollars. That’s a lot of money. But Elin Nordegren is said to have uncovered evidence that Tiger Woods is worth much more than that.
The rumored divorce amount of $700 million, if true, would make this the third costliest divorce settlement after Rupert and Anna Murdoch ($1.7 billion) and Adnan and Soraya Khashoggi ($874 million).
