The High Court in Malaysia has just ruled that a government ban on the Roman Catholic’s publication, The Herald, for using the word “Allah” is unconstitutional. A report in the Kansas City Star caught my attention a while back. Entitled “Man charged with statutory rape in ‘marriage’ to 14-year-old girl”, the report says that 23-year old Vincent Mosby (aka Salih) apparently thought he had entered into a valid marriage contract with the girl’s guardians, notwithstanding the fact that the girl was only 14 [...] Ladies, what would you say if the law of your country says that you are guilty of causing deception if you wear your everyday bras? And what if the law says further that you can be whipped or caned publicly for this offense? That’s what’s happening in Somalia nowadays. A Reuters report just caught my attention.
