Have you noticed that earthquakes are increasing in frequency nowadays? The latest one happens today. It occurred in Indonesia, in the sea under the Indian Ocean approximately 110 kilometers (70 miles) southwest of the city of Padang. The undersea earthquake measured 6.7 magnitude and two aftershocks with magnitudes of 5.2 and 5.6 followed within the hour.
