Muslim Cleric Endorses Lies To Get Converts

In this video clip, Egyptian Muslim cleric Mahmould Al-Masri goes on record to say that it’s alright to tell lies to get new Muslim converts. That Mahmould Al-Masri actually endorses telling lies is obvious when he describes such a person as a good Muslim.

Mahmould Al-Marsi makes the point that once a person converts to become a Muslim, it is then not possible for that Muslim convert to leave Islam without being punished for apostasty.

Think about it. Does the end justify the means? Muslim cleric Mahmould Al-Marsi seems to endorse this, even to the extent of allowing lies to be told in the process of getting new Muslim converts. But should this be the case? Should religious leaders tell lies?
