We are all used to reading about old men marrying very young girls. But Malaysia has just got a case that is different. A 107-year old woman, who is married 22 times, and whose current husband is a mere 37-year old, is fearful that the 4-year marriage is ending soon. And she wants to be married for the 23rd time if the marriage is ended.
Husband Muhammad Noor Che Musa is undergoing a rehabilitation program for drug addiction in the Malaysian capital of Kuala Lumpur. Wife Wook Kundor, who lives in northern Kuala Terengganu state, said she felt “lonely” without her husband.
Now Wook Kundor is fearful that her husband would not return to her, thus ending the 4-year old marriage. She said: “Lately, there is this kind of insecurity in me. I realise I am an aged woman. My intention to re-marry is to fill my forlornness, and nothing more than that.”
Will she change her mind? Yes, if her husband tells her that he still has feelings for her.
How did the couple meet in the first place? Well the husband was her lodger before they fell in love. At their wedding, he said that it was “God’s will” that he should fall for her.
Think about it. Why would a 107-year old women, married 22 times, want to marry again? What would her potential next husband be looking for in a marriage with her? And how old (or young) would he be?
