The photo of a woman who passed away on 10 Jun 2009 caught my attention while I was reading the obituary section this morning. There were multiple obituaries of the same person. As I read further I realized that the person who has passed away is a 47 year old doctor. I suddenly realized that she was [...] A doctor told me that a professor gave his class a pop quiz when he was in his final year of medical school. This doctor was conscientious and had breezed through all the questions until the last one. The question asked for the name of the woman who cleans the lecture hall. Surely that was some kind of joke. [...] What a difference a misplaced punctuation mark makes! Consider this classroom scenario. Teacher: Make a statement from the following sentence by inserting punctuation marks at appropriate places: “woman without her man is nothing” Male Student : “Woman, without her man, is nothing!” Female Student : “Woman! without her, man is nothing.” See how the meaning of a sentence is changed completely [...] There are five ‘big questions’ people always ask and by giving people logical answers to their honest questions you maybe rolling away the stone so they can come out of their tomb of unbelief?
