Avram Grant Named As Visitor To Brothel

Eversince Justice Tugendhat lifted the so-called super injunction gagging order to deny John Terry his privacy over his alleged affair with Vanessa Perroncel, other celebrities with something to hide and who had relied on the human rights law under the super injunction for protection are worried about being exposed by the press. One such celebrity is Portsmouth manager Avram Grant.

Press reports now named Avram Grant as the Premier League manager who visited a Thai vice den masquerading as a massage parlour and spent more than an hour there.

Avram Grant rose to fame when Roman Abramovich appointed him as Chelsea manager to replace Luiz Felipe Scolari.  So Avram Grant and John Terry did cross path at Chelsea, where John Terry served as captain under Avram Grant.

Avram Grant has been married to actress Tzofit for 16 years, but she did not follow Avram Grant to England when he moved there. Perhaps like Wayne Bridge and Vanessa Perroncel, Avram Grant discovered that long distance relationship does not always work.  They have 2 children.

What did Tzofit have to say about her husband’s conduct?  She said: “It’s nobody’s business what he does with his body  -  he can get Thai massage anytime and anyhow.  I don’t understand all the fuss. Avraham (his full name) loves massages, also Australian massage and Japanese massage, as well as having massages from Thai women.”

Is Tzofit mad at Avram Grant? She said: “I swear on my children’s lives that I am not mad at him. If I am mad, it is because he does not get massages every day.”

But what if Avram Grant did visit a brothel?  Tzofit said: “If I suspect that my husband actually went to a brothel  -  that’s just between me and him.”

Did Avram Grant know that the place he was visiting  is a brothel and not a massage parlour?  When confronted by reporters from The Sun, Avram Grant said “Yes”, and then left. 

An eye witness, a delivery man told The Sun reporter: “Everyone around here knows that it’s a brothel and not a massage parlour. I was watching when the car pulled up and I was stunned when I saw who got out of the back. I recognised him straight away and so I carried on watching until he came out about an hour later. I was amazed that someone like him didn’t try to hide what he was doing. He just drove up, got out and went in. He obviously thought no one would recognise him but he’s a Premier League football manager.”

A Hampshire Police spokesman said: ”We are aware allegations have been made in connection with that location. We want to speak to clients who might be potential witnesses.”

So Avram Grant, named by the press as the visitor to the brothel, may be called up for interview by police.  And with Justice Tugendhat having lifted the shield, the press is going to have another field day reporting on this.
