2010 FIFA World Cup – Octopus Paul Just One Game Away From Perfect Score

Octopus Paul On Target Again As Germany Came In 3rd

Confidence in Octopus Paul’s ability to pick winners in this 2010 FIFA World Cup has moved up a big notch when Germany proved him right by beating Uruguay 3-2 in the battle for third place in this 2010 FIFA World Cup competition.  This means that Octopus Paul has successfully predicted the outcome of all the matches in which Germany has played in this 2010 FIFA World Cup competition.  By any means, this 100% accuracy record by Octopus Paul is impressive.  But now all eyes are on Octopus Paul as the world awaits the result of the final match between Spain and the Netherlands, with Octopus Paul predicting a Spanish victory.

Historic Moments

The final contest between Spain and the Netherlands is historic in that both teams have never won the FIFA World Cup before.  So the winner of this final match will make FIFA history as the first time victor.  It will also make national history as the winning country lifts the trophy for the first time in their history.

Spain of course received a morale boosting shot when Octopus Paul picked it to be the winner of the 2010 FIFA World Cup.  But supporters of the Netherlands also got their adrenaline pumping when its leading porn star, Bobbi Eden, offered free oral sex to all her Twitter Followers should the Netherlands win the match. And the adrenaline got more excited when it was revealed that it was not just Bobbi Eden, but she has tied up with 3 other porn stars, Vicky Vette, Miss Hybrid and Gabby Quinteros to perform the oral sex treat if the Netherlands emerges as champion.

Yet another historic moment is at hand.  Since Germany failed to qualify for the 2010 FIFA World Cup final, this final match is the first time that Octopus Paul is asked to predict the winner of a match in which Germany is not playing.

Think About It

If Octopus Paul is right, and Spain defeats the Netherlands to win the 2010 FIFA World Cup, then Octopus Paul’s reputation as a psychic would have taken a gigantic leap, from predicting outcome of games in which Germany is playing, to a global stage predicting outcome of games not involving the German team.  But if Octopus Paul is wrong, and Spain is defeated in the 2010 FIFA World Cup final, then Octopus Paul will have to pull the greatest escape since the days of escape artist Harry Houdini as Spanish eyes will be lusting after Octopus Paul to feast on him.  So there you have it.  Octopus Paul is just one game away from a historic milestone.  Will his track record of 100% accuracy in this 2010 World Cup competition be reinforced after the final match, or will his reputation take a hit with a wrong prediction at the final hurdle?  We will know the answer in the matter of hours.
